For over 25 years, I have customized my evaluations and treatments to fit children's particular needs.  Each child presents me with a unique puzzle.  It is my mission to make sense of this puzzle, determine strengths, weaknesses, and needs, explain why the difficulties exist, and provide an individualized plan to help them have a happier life.

I specialize in the treatment of children aged 18-months to 8-years-old and the assessment / evaluation of children aged 5- to 16-years-old.

Areas addressed include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Learning difficulties
  • Giftedness
  • Kindergarten readiness
  • Parent skills training
  • Behavior problems
  • Anxiety
  • Emotional disturbances
  • Anger management
  • Toileting problems
  • Sleeping difficulties

I do not specialize in services for Autism or court/legal purposes.

About My Practice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.  Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.  You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.  Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service.  You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.  If you receive a bill that is significantly more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.  Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call Dr. Dedmon’s office.

Payment / Billing

I am a small boutique practice.  In order to concentrate more time and focus on providing quality therapeutic services to my patients, I am not affiliated with insurance networks.  Parents are required to pay up front for services.
